It’s still hard for me to believe that my greatest usefulness to others has been my passion to inspire and encourage men.  Nothing gets me more excited than guiding men to discover their best selves and giving the best version of themselves to their wives and children.  

God has quite a sense of humor. He took the missing piece to my puzzle and made it a big part of my purpose.  You see, I grew up without my dad and often wondered why life was that way for me.   But that longing for my dad’s presence and wisdom turned into my passion — the passion to help other men be dynamic husbands, fathers, and leaders.

It’s been an amazing journey, especially  these last 30 years with the love of my life, Sheri! We’ve been blessed to have four amazing human beings for young adult children.  The journey has taken us to UCLA where I was privileged to mentor some of the world’s most talented athletes and coaches.  It includes a 14 year career as a life coach and mentor for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.  I cherish the rare honor of having earned not one, but two Super Bowl rings.  (2000 & 2012)

And who knew that a shy kid from the projects of Norfolk, VA, who would never speak in school plays would have the privilege of speaking to thousands of men at conferences around the country.  Yes, I’m a proud Va. Tech Hokie alum — the first in my family to graduate from college and to complete my graduate studies in counseling.  I’m living my dream... with no plans to wake up! And I’d love to help you live your dreams to be a dynamic husband, father, and leader.
